Voodoo Woman and Her Little Dog Too
One of my all time favorite photos ...shot in Habana Viejo. Check out the dog wearing the sunglasses! Classic! ;-)
Beauty in the Rust
It doesn't matter where you are, where you go ...beauty is all around us. Sometimes you just have to change your perspective ...

Something you don't see much of nowadays ...someone drying clothes on a clothesline. I took this photo in Lake City, CO

"Orman's"
I like vintage signs that give a sense of nostalgia. This one was in old downtown Clarksdale, MS. I felt like I was back in the 50's while walking down the street during the "Juke Joint Festival". Kinda surreal ...
"Technicolor Brick Wall"
As seen in Clarksdale, MS while me and the family were attending the "Juke Joint Festival ".
"Captured Beauty"
I really dig flowers and nature ...I caught this beauty when I was making my weekly trip to the old Collierville (TN) Town Square.

Lonely Lamp
One of my Grandmother McKee's lamps from 1968. It's a cool lamp and I can't seem to part with it ...yet! Make an offer!

Spooning ...
In photography, it's all about perspective ...stand up on a chair sometime and look down on your subject. This photo was taken at the 2006 Germantown Fall Festival.
Bella #1
Here's a photo of our new puppy, Bella. She was a little over 7 weeks old. We got her from a kennel in Southwest Missouri. We hadn't had a family dog since 2000. Our previous dog, Dusti, had to be put down since her health had declined rapidly. Wow, that was one of the toughest things I've had to do since becoming an adult. It's amazing what a puppy can do to brighten up a home. Another one of God's precious gifts ...
In Memory of the OKC Victims
Sometimes you have to walk away from a memorial site to get interesting shots. Walk about 100 or 200 yards away and then turn around.

"Movie's Over"
These 2 old movie seats are from the former New Roxy movie theater in Clarksdale, MS. Ike Turner worked at this theater when he was a young man. It's now a very cool ampitheater-like venue renovated by a lady named Robin. Music acts are scheduled on a quarterly basis. Check the New Roxy out next time you're in the Delta!
"A Big Box of '70's"
This was one of the hardest things for me to part with since I'm a huge music fan. I sat this 8-track cassette box out on the curb for the Wednesday morning garbage pick up. I had these 8-tracks since the late '70's. This box represented my musical tastes in high school.

"Spring Blooms"
It's Springtime in Memphis, TN! I love this time of year when it comes to photography. Great colors, temps are warmer, winter is a fading memory ...the flowers that bloom in Spring remind me of my grandmother, Mimi, who was a florist and her house always smell good.
